Here's a couple who's less than the sum of their parts. He's a good-looking, well-built man in an expensive suit. She's a beautiful woman in an expensive dress. Put them together and they instantly look sleazy.

She: This look isn't working for us. We don't like the color on her; the bust on the dress looks like it was designed for Dolly Parton, and we don't think the neutral suede heels go at all. Plus, the makeup looks harsh. Score: 5/10

He: Is he not wearing a belt? Someone call security. Look, we get that this isn't a formal event, but if you're going to wear a suit, you pretty much have to wear a belt, unless he's wearing suspenders, which we seriously doubt. Also, we have nothing against unbuttoned shirts. With a jacket, however, it's best to stick to one undone button. Any more than that and the collar collapses and it just looks sloppy. Score: 4/10 (for the beltlessness).

Combined score: 4.5/10. They just look a little icky to us.
