Hello,
I was wondering if anyone (preferably a teen, im 15) would like to make a web design site for a part time job (after school or w/e) Im great with flash and ok with photoshop, fireworks, and dreamweaver. Also i would like some1 who is laid back and likes to have fun while working. I wont be paying anybody anything but we will split the earnings of what we do. You dont have to be the best at any progs , this can be a learning experience and a development of a portfoilio for future jobs(must be good/ok at one web design program) Sorry if thats confsing, im not the best writer but if you are interested email me at chaos@flash-matic.com or reply to this

This is Off-Topic, sorry about that, but this is the best forum i could think of to ask this:

My father-in-law is visiting us from India, and he is thinking of driving a car here. He drives in India and I think in a couple of weeks (with maybe 2-3 classes with some instructor) he should get the hang of driving. Are there any risks that anyone knows of with this? (if he makes a mistake and ends up in an accident I understan that we end up being personally liable and can even be sued if there is an injured party).

I have myself driven a lot in many states on B1/B2, All the car rental agencies on mostly international airports cater to visitors on B1/B2.When i came to US for the first time on business, i drove around 3000 miles just on weekends :-)

If the Locals DL of your FIL is not in english, you need a International Drivers Permit, from your country.IDP is just an english transalation of your local drivers licence,and is not valid without the original DL.

The only problem i see, is that your insurance would not cover him(mine required the authorized driver to have a US licence).if he just wants to drive for fun, you better rent him a car with CDW and Liability insurance.Its expensive but its safe.

And i personally don't agree that fines could be 3 times...all the silicon valley visitors would be screwed.

I heard this from a Chinese friend once and believe its true to its extent. I think most of us, including me, come to this forum and either read the stuff about immigration or take out our frustration one way or another and the anger and frustration dies down there. I am sure IV core team is working day and night for the cause but they are limited with options. I believe the best way to create some gain is to do a collective non-violent rally throughout the nation. The way I see it if you dont make noise nothing gets done in this world. I have been here for almost 9+ years surviving f1,h1b and with very vague future ahead. Satyagraha was started by Gandhiji, and was followed by leaders throughout the world under Non-violence movements. As matter of fact even Obama advised it in the Cairo speech.

I understand that the cause is not as dire as in the other movements but we are here fighting for our freedom. This nation is built upon liberty and yet we are under agreed slavery for employers, which is somehow supported by the government. My point is if we really want to make a difference then we need to be collectively heard. What the worst could happen?

I have a question with regard to legal status:

Case - My current h1, my wife's and son's h4 status will expire within 2 months. My Green Card gets approved today, while my wife and son's stays pending. Since I have the GC, I may not be able to apply for h1 extention.

(a) What will be the status of my wife and son after the 2 month period?
(b) How will I be able to keep my wife and son in a legal status, after the 2 month period

I would appreciate some wisdom here.....
