Concurrent H-1Bs have no quota restriction. You just have to mention hourly rate and number of hours per week for the second job.

I am fine with abandoning the current H1-B extension process. My question is if there will be any problems leaving the country on an expired I-94 even though I am still technically in status.

My concern is that I will have problems if I apply for a tourist visa or H1-B visa in the future.

Today PD (aug 2006 / EB3) is now current :) and I have my I 140 approved.

I also have another job offer which looks great. :confused: But they will start GC only after 3-4 months!

Should I just stick on to my current job and ride it out for 6 months to get EAD?

When does one get EAD 3 months after filing 485 or after 6?
Also if the dates retrogress, will 485 get approved? or Should the date remain current till 485 gets approved?

As Fromnaija correctly explained, if you are an applicant for AOS with an approved EAD you are authorized to remain legally in the US as long as your application is pending. You Whether or not you are working does not matter.

Nothing stops you from changing your employer and submitting another H1 "transfer" with a transfer pending. This is called an anchor transfer. But beware that if the pending transfer is withdrawn by your former employer then USCIS will deny the newer transfer. I read about that somewhere but I don't have the link right now.

a) Can I move to a different company now? Since my H1 extension is based on I-140 approval, I am not sure if this can be used to transfer to new company.

Yes, you can find another employer willing to hire you and sponsor your H1. Since you have an approved I-140, your new employer can use a copy of your I-140 approval notice and get a fresh 3 yr H1 extension

b) When I do a H1 transfer now, Will I get my H1 date till Apr 2012 as per my current H1 approval notice or just for the few more months I had on my original H1B?

You will get a 3 yr H1 extension

c) What will happen to my labor and I-140 after my H1 transfer? My labor was originally applied in EB3 category. Can I file a new one in EB2 category after transferring to the new company?

You cannot directly file your I-485 when your PD is current if you change employers. Your new employer has to start the process all over again from scratch (in any category depending on your job requirement). New employer will have to file PERM/I-140 but can use your old EB-3 PD from the I-140 approval to file I-485.

This depends on the quid pro quo for the equity shares. Are they being given to you in exchange for a passive capital investment in the company or as compensation for work you have performed or are performing?

Guys I am posting this under General Information knowing that this is definitely not an immigration related question. So, please control your urge for giving negative reps. I have booked a wheelchair for my mom who cannot walk properly in Frankfurt airport during her transit of flights. Do they generally take them till the next flight gate? Also, there is only one hour time gap between these 2 flights? Will this be sufficient for them to take her to the next flight gate. Has anyone used this service for your parents and what are their experiences?

My wife is on H4 and willing to apply for H1-B. Her educational qualifications

1.)High school education(12 yrs)
2.)BCA(Bachelor of Computer Applications)- 3 yrs
3.)2.5 yrs of IT experience
4.)She's also doing her M.Sc(Master of Science) in Information Technology. Currently in 2nd year and will be completing by end of 2006. (She may not have the degree certificate by April 2007).

Is she eligible to apply for H1-B for next year 2007

Kumar..Talk to a attorny before filing her H1.USCIS is rejecting cases who dont have continous 16yrs education. Recently one of friend's 7th year extension was rejected based on same reason.

Is the hour in each important or the minimum wage. I believe it is the mimimum wage that counts.

The greencard is only from the first H1. In fact I have already filed I-485 on basis of my employment with this co.
