I've had my D100 for about 3 years. I noticed that the frame buffer was getting lower and lower - and I thought it was just that my memory card was getting old... but I just bought a new one and that was not the problem.

I used to get 6 or 7 images in the buffer, and now it's just 2.

Is there a fix for this or does it need to be repaired?

HI... we get 2 slips.. yellow and pink from HDFC.. I have my yellow slip but lost the pink slip and i have the photo copy of tht pink slip with HDFC bank stamp... will it allow me to enter the consulate at Delhi..?

Is it possible to get F1 status adjusted to H1 without going for a H1 stamping?

Please clarify:

When was your labor cert. application filed?
Is it still pending?
On what date did you first enter the US in H-1 status or first obtain a change of status to H-1?
Since you first entered the US in H-1 status or since you first changed status to H-1 have you spent any time out of the US?
If so, how many days?
When in 2008 did your new employer file its H-1 petition for you?

Besides, depending upon how the "CLASS" is defined- you will not lose your claim if they win the lawsuit.

It does not require you to have filed your case to benefit from the class action , but it depends on how the class has been defined. You can goto Rajiv's website and hear the latest conference call recording which explains his opinion on this.

Me and spouse got the "Card production ordered" and "Welcome notice" emails today morning.

Here is the journey:

Nov.2002 - RIR Labor filed in CA
June 2006 - Labor approved from Phily BEC
July 2006 - I-485 , I-140 filed at TSC
Sept.2006 - I-140 approved
Got stuck in namecheck ( name check may be still pending )
May 20, 2008 - RFE received for missing TB Skin test ( doctor screwed up)
June 4, 2008 - Responded to RFE
June 16, 2008 - Green card approved
Now, waiting for the actual card to arrive.

Were your collegues EB-2 classification with old PDs from the DoL's backlog centres?

I see some of the EB-2 indian nationals with old PDs received approvals so that USCIS can process their I-485.

If you are EB-3 then you might want to wait until Dec 2007.

I am a july 21 filer and received I-485 notices on Sept 26. I am required to join my job on Oct 8 and i want to use the EAD for that.

My question is, if i see the status as "card ordered" before Oct 8, then can i call USCIS to get the EAD number before joining the job. OR does the employer need to be shown the EAD card before joining.



It looks like it is taking 1 week from notice date to see the status change to "Card Ordered" and another 7-10 days or more to get the card.

DONT EVEN TRY. wait for the EAD and in the mean time let your future employer know.They will not mind waiting for a week or so.

My EAD renewal has not been approved and it has been 100 days. I checked with local immigration officer and they dont know as why it is still not processed. USCIS customer service representative says it is within the processing time in Nebraska service center. I efiled EAD and got the biometrics done in June. I am on EAD & can i continue to work if the EAD renewal does not come through befire the current EAD expires ?. Will it affect I485 ?

My company is using substituted labor for me and applying for 140 and 485. My original LC which was pending just got approved. But the physical documentation is not there.

But my company is saying that they will also apply for 140 for the original LC also. How is this possible? I'm confused. What will happen to the 485 (and the first 140) when they file second 140?

1.I applied for I-485 in May 07 and got I-485 reciept in June 07 , and returned to US in july 07 after a short travel outside US.
2.I got the new I-94 card
3.The purpose of my trip outside US to erase my previous out of status history for more than 180 days.
4.My question:How to send my latest I-94 copy to USCIS ? Do i need to attach any form along with latest I-94?
5.Will it really erase my previous out of status history , by considering the fact the I am always in legal status after my re-entry in US and USCIS having my latest I-94(once I send the latest I-94)

I don't think you can send the latest I-94. The out of status is counted after the last entry before filing for 485. Once 485 is filed it cannot be reset. My 2 cents.

I have been trying to go thru various threads in this sub-forum. I have few questions, which I will appreciate if anyone can answer:

yes, if you want to use H1B. Else use EAD it is your choice

4. If wife has started using her EAD, how does that get affected?
no, problem, if you are still on h1b then she can always fall back to h4

5. Can you continue to use the AP issued or do you have to have a new AP re-issued?
you can use AP issued.
