Lady GaGa has made her catwalk debut at Paris Fashion Week.

The 'Born This Way' singer made her appearance on the runway halfway through Mugler's womenswear fashion show, held at a gym on Wednesday.

The star, who arrived on the catwalk sporting pigtails, smoking a cigarette and dressed in a black ensemble, was modelling fashion from the autumn/winter 2011 collection, created by her stylist Nicola Formichetti.

She had earlier told fans about the appearance, writing on her Twitter account: "I''m so excited I might give birth to a machine gun."

GaGa, who directed the show music, also took the opportunity to preview her new song 'Government Hooker', taken from her upcoming album Born This Way, which is scheduled for release this May.

Formichetti is a member of the singer's Haus Of GaGa collective.

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly keen on working with Lady Gaga in his upcoming sci-fi fantasy film Ra.One.

According to Mid Day, the 45-year-old Bollywood superstar has asked Akon to persuade the 'Born This Way' singer to do a music video for the film.

A source told the newspaper: "If she agrees to do Ra.One it would be a huge asset for the film. Akon has already bounced the idea to GaGa's management and her team. While she's touring right now, there's a possibility that Shah Rukh might have a meeting with her in coming weeks."

The source added: "While Anubhav Sinha and Khan are trying hard to get Akon to convince Gaga, they are also sending Shakira feelers for the same."

Akon has already recorded a song called ‘Chamak Challo’ for the movie, which is slated for release in October.

Lady GaGa has revealed that being "glamorous" and "stylish" has nothing to do with her wealth.

The singer insisted that wearing flesh-coloured spikes on her forehead and platform shoes is ''just another day at the office".

Speaking in an interview with Gayle King, while wearing spikes on her face and shoulders, huge platform shoes and a leather dress, she said: "I live a glamorous, stylish life. It's nothing to do with money or anything. It's just the way I choose to live.

"I just woke up in my New York apartment and just wanted to be myself today, so I wore my vintage mute glare catsuit and these are my favourite shoes right now.

"They're creepers and they're made into platforms. I'm very excited about that. It's just another day at the office."

The 24-year-old then claimed that the spikes on her face were natural: "They've been there this whole time but I waited until I'd put 'Born This Way' out for you to see them."

GaGa also said that she doesn't care what people think of her.
She added: "I always like to say people take me too seriously and not seriously enough at the same time.

"I think there's an incredible amount of scrutiny on young women and I think there's a tremendous amount of analysis that goes into everything, but I just don't care what people think of me to be perfectly blunt."

"Most people are self-obsessed here and can't have a good conversation."

Lady GaGa has revealed that she was told by her drama teachers at university that she would never make it as a star.

The 24-year-old explained that they said she was "too ethnic" to ever be successful.

She told the crowd during a concert at Madison Square Garden last night that her teachers said: "You'll never be the heroine, the blonde, the star. Your hair's too dark. You look too ethnic."

She went on to say that she had replied to them: "What about Liza?" - referencing actress and singer Liza Minelli, who was at the show.

The singer also praised her hometown New York and thanked her fans for making her "brave".

She added: "I used to live 20 blocks from here, so I saw all those names go up on the Marquis, and I always wanted to see my name up in those lights.

Lady Gaga has compared some of the tracks on ‘Born This Way’ to drugs.

While discussing the eclectic sound of her forthcoming record, the singer said her first single was like the drug ‘cannabis’ compared to the ‘heroin’ - a much stronger and more dangerous drug - of some of the other tracks.

“I, in jest, say that ‘Born This Way’ is the marijuana to the heroins of the album, the ultimate intense intoxication of the record. It''s an analogy,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Billboard.com.

“On the album there''s not an incredible amount of breadth and eccentricity. It''s quite eclectic. It ranges from ‘Born This Way’ being very light to the rest of the album becoming quite darker,” she added.

Lady GaGa has admitted that she has made a choice to put her career before her love life for the foreseeable future.

The singer said that she has been forced to prioritise her music career over her commitment to relationships over the past few years, but doesn't regret her decision.

"Women have to make decisions and it's the toughest thing ever. Is it a man or is it a career?" GaGa said, according to Bang Showbiz. "I was with a man once who couldn't understand that other things could come first.

"I know I run the risk of being alone for ever, but it's the price I'll have to pay," GaGa admitted. "I guess there's some fear inside of me which makes me this way.

"My music is never going to roll over in bed one morning and tell me that it doesn't love me any more," the 'Born This Way' singer added.

GaGa will release her second studio album Born This Way on May 23.

Lady Gaga wore a 'latex condom inspired outfit' on 'Good Morning America' to promote 'safe sex'.

The pop star's fashion choices often come without explanations, but she offered a partly-bizarre, partly-innovative reason for her latest wacky outfit on 'GMA' Thursday.

Dressed in a nude-colored latex ensemble, the singer said, "today was a latex condom inspired outfit because we had to talk about safe sex."

The outfit related directly to her work as a spokesperson for MAC's Viva Glam campaign, which advocates for HIV/AIDS prevention.

During her interview, Gaga said she thinks her "little monsters" are supportive of her efforts.

"I know my fans very well and they think it's cool to be aware about sex, aware about the world and aware about things like HIV and AIDS and protecting themselves," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

The "Born This Way" songstress revealed that her mom taught her about safe sex at a young age.

Lady Gaga has addressed allegations that she copied Madonna's classic hit 'Express Yourself', insisting the Queen of Pop has given her "complete support" over her new single 'Born This Way'.

The pop sensation sparked a huge buzz in the lead up to releasing her highly anticipated track, which she hailed as an anthem for a new generation, on Friday (11Feb11), reports the Daily Star.

During an interview with U.S. chat show host Jay Leno, Gaga failed to dismiss the criticisms, but insisted the Material Girl has no issue with her song - and so neither should anybody else.

She said, "There is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me. I am the hugest fan personally and professionally.

"Well, the good news is that I got an email from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be," she added.

Miley Cyrus has said that she appreciated Lady GaGa's entrance at the Grammy Awards.

The 'Born This Way' star was carried down the red carpet on Sunday night encased inside a giant egg, which she later 'hatched' from during her performance.

"Next time I'm coming in on an egg. It's a real show-stopper! I want to do it!" joked Cyrus on the official Grammys telecast on YouTube.

"I like it because it's about who you are. I like that about her. She always does something totally outrageous because that's what GaGa is. You go!"

Other celebrities who reacted to GaGa's egg arrival on Twitter included E! host Giuliana Rancic, who explained to followers: "Lady GaGa is in the womb. She is inside and isn't born yet. She's incubating!!! No joke!"

Piers Morgan tweeted: "Think I might host tomorrow's @PiersTonight in same outfit that @ladygaga wore to #Grammys. #eggstraordinary", while Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky quipped: "She cracks me up!"

GaGa picked up three awards at the annual ceremony.

Pop star Lady Gaga has revealed that she suffered trauma while abusing cocaine and alcohol as a youngster.

She made the confession to writer Neil Strauss, author of pick-up manual "The Game."
"All of the trauma I caused to myself . . . There are some things that are so traumatic, I don''t even fully remember them," reports the New York Post.

Strauss said he called on his persuasion techniques to get stars to open up for his book, "Everyone Loves You When You''re Dead."

"When I interviewed Christina Aguilera, she talked for the first time about surviving domestic abuse . . . I think musicians see me as some sort of confessional," he added.

Pop singer Lady Gaga-inspired trend of wearing coloured contact lenses could damage people's eyes, opticians have warned.

Wearing circle contact lenses that make eyes look bigger has become a rage amongst teenagers, after the pop icon wore them in her video for the song ''Bad Romance''.

They achieve their effect by covering part of the white area of the eye, the sclera, which ophthalmologists have warned could cause allergies, scarring and infection, risking blindness, reports the Independent.

Circle lenses come in a variety of colours such as bright pink and red, and can be bought from foreign websites for around 20 pounds, without an eye examination or a prescription.

Popular with teenage girls and women in their twenties, they imitate the round, oversize eyes of Japanese anime characters.

James Salz, an ophthalmology professor at the University of Southern California, said, "There are bound to be complications from the way they''re being dispensed."

Salz, also a spokesman for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, told the Chicago Tribune: "Kids are going online and buying them like they''re an earring or a nose ring. They''re not being fit[ted], and all eyes aren''t the same shape; some have steeper curves of the cornea, and some eyes are larger or smaller."

Melanie Pickett, of clinical ophthalmology at Indiana University School of Medicine, warned that the lenses could fit too tightly. That could decrease the amount of oxygen reaching the eye and if untreated, she said, "the blood vessels can grow through the line of sight, causing permanent vision impairment".

"If they''re not fitted properly, they can induce sight-threatening complications, such as abnormal blood vessel growth in the cornea," she added.

Lady GaGa could earn more than $100m (£63m) by the end of the year, according to Forbes.

The financial publication says that GaGa's current tour could help her pass the $100m mark in 2011. Her tour grossed $133m in 2010.

The popstar plays to crowds of 14,000 on average and makes close to $2m gross per show. She nets nearly $800,000 a gig after security costs, promoter fees and other expenses.

The 'Poker Face' singer is scheduled to play 41 more concerts in large venues, which could earn her about $33m.

GaGa's next LP Born This Way arrives in stores this June. Album sales combined with another tour to support the record, merchandise sales and appearances would be enough to make her the year’s top-earning musician.

"We’re only seeing the beginning," said entertainment attorney Bernie Resnick, adding that GaGa is "just hitting her stride artistically and commercially now".
