Just over a year after they began dating, Whitney Port and boyfriend Ben Nemtin have parted ways. “I don’t have a boyfriend," she said earlier today.
“It’s definitely different, but I’m enjoying my time focusing on work and keeping busy."
Their last appearance together was on May 4th at the NYLON Magazine May Young Hollywood Celebration.

Thread NY caught up with The City alum Whitney Port at Coca-Cola's 125th birthday event and the launch of its commemorative book with Assouline. She talked about the progress of her fashion line, Whitney Eve, and revealed her summer must-haves. Tell us what’s new with your fashion line Whitney Eve?
I’m working on my spring collection right now, Spring 2012, and just gearing that up for fashion week. I think the collection has grown a lot and I can’t wait to show it.
Any hints on what it’s going to look like?
There are a lot of florals in the collection, watercolor florals.
What’s the most challenging part of being a designer?
I don’t have any formal technical training in fashion. I just kind of went into it blind. I’m just trying to learn through the process. It’s definitely not easy, but I am proud to say that I think I have grown a lot as a designer since I started.
What's on your summer must-haves list?
A good bathing suit. Scarves, you can wear them with anything. A pair of fun sandals. I am loving Missoni Havaianas right now. I have every pair.
What summer trends are you loving right now?
I am always just into cut-off jean shorts and a white tee-shirt. You really can’t go wrong with that.

The former “City” hottie looked fabulous in a beige summer dress with a fringed hemline as she posed for the paparazzi inside the IAC Building.

Her time on The City helped Whitney Port develop her signature style (which she describes as "feminine with a bit of funkiness"), and that impressively one-a-kind sartorial sense includes her extra-long blonde hair.
The 26-year-old star loves to experiment with a slew of hair looks ranging from intricate updos to pretty braids (not to mention her recent quick stint as a redhead). For this year's Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party, the author and designer decided to go with simple, shiny waves.
Enter John Frieda creative consultant Harry Josh, who knows a thing or two about sexy hair (longtime clients include Gisele Bundchen and Gwyneth Paltrow). Watch him work his magic on Port's mane in the video above.

On Tuesday, the world learned that former Hills man-eater Kristin Cavallari is ready to settle down, after it was announced that the reality starlet became engaged to footballer Jay Cutler. During her time on both MTV's Laguna Beach and The Hills, the SoCal small-screen star fell in and out of love with Justin Bobby, Brody Jenner and Stephen Colletti, just to name a few.And now one of those former paramours is offering his congratulations to the newly engaged actress. "I'm extremely happy for her," Colletti told Hollywood Life. "She deserves to be happy. She's getting engaged! It's weird. We're at that age now ... it's that reality check."
Colletti himself is currently dating Dancing With the Stars contestant Chelsea Kane, but he doesn't feel the need to put a ring on it just yet. "That's not something [that's on my mind right now]," he said. "Of course I'd like to get married someday though!"
Many of Cavallari's other former co-stars have remained mum on the subject, but former star of The City Whitney Port sent her love and support on Twitter. "@KristinCav heard from a little birdie the big news!" she wrote. "So happy for you, much love!!! Xoxo."
Cavallari has not directly commented on her engagement, but she did tweet her fans on Tuesday, writing, "My phone has not stopped today. Need to put it down."
