Should I apply for my kid,or put his name, as if he's applying for himself?
I got an answer from yahoo answers saying that I should apply for it,as if I was my kid,put him as applicant,but how can I sign for it,since he is not me and he is only 6 months.It's terrible and inhuman to separate a newborn from his mother.
Unbelievable!I waited more than two years to get together with my wife and now God knows how long I have to wait to get together with my kid.I just wonder how inhuman human laws can be.

Open an MTR ASAP. It sometimes takes lot of time(may be one year) for final decision.

In the table it mentions "April 24, 2007" as the date for EB based 485 adjustment applications.
Just for one sec assume that above date is right. What does "processing completion" of your 485 means? Does that mean your case is pre-adjudicated and waiting for the visa number and you won't get any RFE?
Also, when they are mentioning "April 24, 2007" date , are they ignoring the applicants who are stuck in namecheck process for years? If a person has filed 485 in 2005 or 2006 but stuck in namecheck, how come 485 is completed?

The thread is for people with Canadian perm residentship and also have US green card. They may face issue due to conflict of interest (intent) between both white/green cards.
while, most of us do not have Canada perm residentship. why should we face that issue? I was only concerned with any other issue due to the fact of mere visiting canada on greencard? if it can raise any suspicion (or any technical issue) of abandoning the pending or approved GC?

As long as your marriage date is prior to your 485 approval date and the dates are current(means your priority date) you can apply for spouse 485.
I am also in the same boat and I am waiting my priority date to be current.
I got my 485 approved
