hey!
who's a teenager here? ;)
more.your post is confusing.
you say it worked fine, but then it sounds like your upset it doesn't have audio.
what mac do you have?
how to hook it up depends on what kind, and how old it is.
if you're not sure how old it is, go to the :apple: menu, about this mac, more info.
then on the the main hardware page, there is a Model Identifier should say something followed by a couple numbers, like "Macmini4,1"
give us that, and we can tell you what you need.

more.Hi there a few months back I upgraded my G4 733Mhz Quicksilver with a dual 1,6 Ghz card from Powerlogix. I initialy experienced some problems with the computer turning off on it's own accord after an hour or so of use. After changing the settings in the energy-panel to highest performance this seemed to stop.
Anyway I recently had the brilliant idea (not) of replacing the fan above my harddisk in the vain hope to reduce some noise (which has been the only negative side to my experience with this computer). Everything seemed to work fine initially but suddenly the machine once again started to switch off on it's own account.
I therefore put the original fan back, but the machine still switches off when I push it just a little bit too hard. Nothing fancy really, just a few apps open and running MAME. According to Powerlogix CPU Director was running just south of 109 F when the machine swithched off.
This of course makes me worry more than just a little bit.
My only*real hope is that I have maybe inserted the original fan backwards? Could someone just please tell me whether the sticker on the fan should point outwards into the computer or if it should be pointing away, into the "wall" not being visible.
Thanking you all in advance for your kind help! :)

terrell owens dresses. Not sure how you saw a 12" Powerbook over a decade ago since they didn't come out until 2003 ;)
But seriously, they will hold 1.12GB of RAM in the original 867MHz models, and all the ones after than will do 1.25GB of RAM. For a short time you actually could get CPU upgrades through a company that you would mail the PowerBook to and they would upgrade it to 1.67GHz or something like that. I've owned both a 867MHz model and currently a 1.5GHz one. Go for no less than a 1.33. They have faster RAM, much better graphics chips, and more HD space by default. My 1.5GHz is wonderful in Leopard with the maximum RAM installed and its 64MB GeForce Go5200 graphics card. Probably wouldn't hurt to find a newer & faster HD, but for a secondary computer, 60GB is plenty for me.
sylvester stallone height. As for as I know, it's extremely unlikely for someone to brick an iPhone or iOS device. You can certainly mess up during the process if you are careless, but you would just have to restore it or go into DFU mode. So I wouldn't be afraid.

Its still here. But you need to have a minimum number of posts before you can post or view it. I think the minimum is 250 or 500 posts.
I better start posting. Thank you for the help, trying to avoid craigslist.
more.remove the cube from its shell

more derek jeter fotos.Where are my Broward People?
I will be at the store at about 10am, I can't wake up early, I took the day off and I am sleeping in, even if it's the iPhone launch :)
Who's going??
more.Okay, I'm no newbie but I am stumped on this. Just got a new iPad 1. It came loaded with 3.2.2 (blow out pricing at Verizon). From all my reading, I can't jb this firm version. So, I dl'd the iPad 1,1 4.2.1.ipsw file so I could utilize the Greenp0is0n app (which, I gather 'used to' work on 3.2.2 but now requires 4.2.1). I shift-click (PC) to install that and Apple won't let me (natch, cuz it isn't 4.3.1). Since this is new, with unbreakable current firmware, I have no shsh blobs I can reference saved. So, changing the hostfile won't help me as there is nothing a cydia I can retrieve.
Question, in short, what do I need to do to jb this?

Not really. It has the same constraints as uploading a photo directly to MR. Size limit is 1.14MB at 600px by 600px. You could create a custom Export setting in A3 to match these requirements, but you would still need to Export them to a folder on your computer and pull them to your Album from there. Not automatic, but a workaround.

I just got the iPhone 4 for Verizon and I usually would let my phone die all the way and then charge it for 12 hours to get it completely charged. Is it the same for the iPhone 4 or does it not matter? If it does matter is it longer than 12 hours? Also, can leaving your phone plugged in when it is fully charged hurt it? Thanks!
Just charge it freely. Most mobile phones now use lithium batteries as power supply. So you are not necessary to overcharge it at all. Don't worry that it will do some harm to your battery.

This was funny in the first time I saw it.
that obviously represents the missing: "1 who posts that this is a repost, that it was funnier when Jesus originally posted it to Al Gore shortly after he invented the internet, or that this is just a c&p from reddit a week ago."
and just for macrumors: "1 posting per hour by someone asking when the next version of the lightbulb in question will be released, what improvements will it have, and if they should wait for it in the dark or just buy the current lightbulb."
Anyone going to the ATT store in Worcester, MA? It is so hard to gauge how many people are going to be there for the launch....
 The 17" apple studio displays I saw on line - ARE NOT AVAilable. Not at the price they were quoting. So now I have more thinking to do. There are 2 companies that claim they have them in stock but want close to $650!
I have seen quite a few on ebay in the 250 - 300 range. What do you all think of buying a monitor on ebay?

I removed my Samsung 470 SSD from an HP laptop that had Win 7 running. Trim was enabled automatically with Win 7. When I put it into my new Macbook Pro trim was not enabled. You can check by going into the Apple, then About, then More Info and finally into Serial ATA. When you scroll down you will see that trim is not enabled.( Without it, the SSD will fill up and slow down. Google it and see what it does). Groths.org had a Trim Enabler patch that worked perfectly. I downloaded it and clicked on it and it installed. When I went back into the Apple, etc I found that trim had been enabled. Kudos to Oskar. I dropped a couple of bucks on him from Paypal because I appreciate this kind of work. Maybe Apple will have trim enabled in the next OS, like Win7.
OSX is not affected the same way without trim. It may slightly improve overall performance but because the whole file structure is different TRIM is not nearly as essential on OSX. In fact, forum members have reported problems with SSD's after enabling TRIM.
