As needhelp said earlier, the damage is done. This is really shameful on the part of CNN. Maybe its a coordinated effort by the Lou Dobbs production team to equate our issues with H1B. This philosophy trickles down and freelance writers end up subscribing to that ideology giving betsy ross and her hateful group a nice platform for them to launch their attacks on us or spread even more misinformation.

One thing I started doing was identifying texts in the comments section of any news article post related to high skilled immigration. It looks like ALIPAC or one of those hate groups have a concentrated effort for members to post the same message in the comments section of any media article that is sympathetic to our predicament. We need to identify these posters and the messages - maybe it all comes from one user posting the same set of stock messages with different names.

I have thought of one more idea..

We know very well that by current interpretation EB3 is permanently fixed to the back of the line. NO EB3 will get processed until the last EB2 who files in the year 2013 gets approved, (counting out the regular quota).

And why are we here? Many believe (or know) that it is because of the 245(i) amnesty signed by Clinton and Bush.

Isn't it ironic that the illegals that were put in the line are not being moved back as the line expands? Why only we legals? Maybe there is some scope to challenge the 245(i) visa number allocation and point out that legal immigrants are waiting in line then how can you admit illegals in front

Anyone having the facts and numbers of 245(i)?


I have asked this question over and over again but Iv doesn't seem to entertain it. IV number crunchers are busy developing and applying patent for a sofware on GC estimation.
245(i) consumed EB3 worldwide quota and is responsilbe to backlog along with deliberate delay by USCIs.
But thas history now, what do we do in future matter more...I think If economy doesn't improves EB3s are infor a big shock.
Post election if Republicans win then they will do their best to deny GCs to all backlog guys so that they can enjoy thier loot (Social secuirty,foreclosed homes)...

Because you guys are not as clever as EB2s.

Where does it say in the bulletin that it will move in the next bulletin?

Not only EB2, EB3 India also will move to April 2005, atleast for couple of months before this FY ends, to use the 140K numbers.

As we know this bill won't surive due to current economic conditions...How about making it attrcative by adding 5k fees if person wants GC staying more than 5years

hey - My July's EAD app was my 3rd and I filed up the date and details of just the 2nd EAD.
Mine was a paper App - I filled and then printed the form. They approved it after 76 days.
, mailed it after 87 days and I got got EAD at hand in 91 days.

Didn't provide any details about 1st EAD ... they can easily find it out - if needed :)

I am trying to self file I765, I want to paperfile since I don't want to go for photos and other stuff to the Uscis center. My lawyer has filed my earlier applications for employment authorization and parole. He has filled all my previous employment authorization dates on the I765 forms, however I cannot fill more than 2 dates on the I765 forms, do I convert the form into word and fill it and reconvert it back? I have to file next week, please help.

Nixstor did explained his actions and I concur... Controversial handles should be banned... Handle "TALIBAN" was banned and same member opened new handle "TAWLIBANN" saying his name is Tawlibann Foggs...

Anyway we should close this issue.. I do find tawlibann's posts decent and non-offensive.. Only thing is we need to practice some respect to the communitity when chosing a handle... Its just not this.. there could be potentially other offensive handles.. So I'd say there should be a step/check in registration process to monitor/regulate handles... You won't like any handle offending your religious beliefs, dis-respecting your nation or humanity itself...

Just my 2 cents... We should stop this discussion and focus on immigration issues...

Probably, Keeping job (at least 6 month to ride wave) is much more important then GC. Smartest people in the world (on wall street) doomed us !!!

Now they are saying "Smartness" is a relative term.:)

Do we need images? Can't we just have text on a yellow paper with appropriate text highlighted? We want to emphasize on the text. Not sure what value add an image can have unless we have someone standing in a line outside a gc office with window and we could put something like .. another 5 years... The images has to be in sync with the text. I am not for putting a picture of the capitol hill so much. We have to emphasize on the problem. This is just my opinion.

All EB3 Is are coming forward. Thats a good thing.

But do we have:
- A leader to lead this effort
- Agenda to follow
- Specific Goals
- Action Items
- Immediate Goals

Without these we are not going anywhere. But just wasting our time on top of our already surmounting frustration.

I see nobody serious but everyone wants some one else to help.

Here is my big idea. We should ask Bill Gates and Sonia Gandhi to help us. Instead of working on spillover for 500 visas, how about get these people to help us. They can help change INA with their contacts.

July '09 Bulletin will be full of surprises..(at least for EB2 folks)..

The rally was great, but disappointed on three fronts,

1) Very few turned up from DC,MD,VA.

2) The congress men thinks that we are illegal immigrants, as he is constantly mentioned illegal Irish immigrants.

3) Robert mentioned that as if its an India-China immigration forum, I think thats going to do more bad for us then good. I think everybody agrees that there is lot of bad news about India and China, and Americans loosing jobs due to off shoring. Apart from that we have persons in same boat from other countries too, though I was surprised to see them.

As mentioned by others we need to change the org name to legalimmigrationvoice.org immidiately.
