Miss California Alyssa Campanella has won the 2011 Miss USA pageant.Campanella defeated 50 other beauties in the event at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.Campanella, who originally hails from New Jersey but now lives in Los Angeles, will represent the United States at this year’s Miss Universe pageant in September in Brazil.Auburn-haired Campanella, 21, took the stage donning both a turquoise gown and a blue and white polka dot bikini for the event’s evening gown and swimsuit portions, and she answered a question regarding the legalization of marijuana for the Q and A section of the competition.”I understand why that question would be asked, especially with today’s economy, but I also understand that medical marijuana is very important to help those who need it medically,” the ABC News quoted Campanella as saying.”I’m not sure if it should be legalized, if it would really affect, with the drug war. I mean, it’s abused today, unfortunately, so that’s the only reason why I would kind of be a little bit against it, but medically it’s OK,”

After dozens of false baby bump reports over the years, variously triggered by sumptuous dinners, lack of exercise or a ill fitting dresses, Aishwarya Rai has a bun in the oven for real, confirmed by none other than Pa-In-Law Amitabh Bachchan.

Aishwarya, 37, and Abhishek Bachchan, 35, who celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary this April, are expecting their first child together.

"T 410 -NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!" Amitabh shared his excitement with his twitter fans around midnight of June 20.

Amitabh's next tweet said:

Abhishek Bachchan, who can get fairly chirpy on Twitter, has so far let his father do the talking.

Aishwarya's visit at Cannes 2011 last month had sparked fresh pregnancy rumors as she had looked curvier than her usual self and had walked the red carpet in dresses with a belly covering flap.

More recently, pregnancy rumors surfaced during her appearance at the Prix de Diane Longines at Hippodrome de Chantilly in France on June 12, where her two piece dress had a loose top and she was seen frequently covering her stomach with her hand.

Aishwarya is currently filming for Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, which rolled on June 7 on a 45 day start-to-finish schedule.

Aishwarya, who has not signed any other film, may not be seen on the silver screen for a long time following the release of Heroine in February 2012.

L-Boogie’s got another bun in the oven. Grammy Award-winning singer/rapper Lauryn Hill is pregnant with her sixth child. The former Fugee –- who already has five children, Zion David-Nesta, 13, Selah, 12, Joshua, nine, John, seven, and three-year-old Sarah with on/off partner Rohan Marley –- announced her news at the end of her concert at Detroit’s Chene Park on Saturday night.

“I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America. I’m going to be taking time off to give birth,” she told the crowd.

Lauryn, 36, is reportedly in her second trimester and is expected to give birth later this year. The soon-to-be mama is staying mum about the identity of the presumably proud father, but we’re guessing Lauryn’s newly-occupied is likely the work of Rohan…again.
